Newbury Street Practice is all that is good about the NHS. It is easy to get an appointment and I am usually seen on the same day that I request to see a doctor. Everyone is helpful and friendly. I cannot praise it highly enough.

I have never had any issues making an appointment at the surgery and the receptionists have always been helpful and friendly, even at time when they seem run of their feet. The surgery is always clean and tidy.

There needs to be a policy review regarding people living alone especially in the countryside with no phone, shops etc who are at risk. The doctors should be obliged to pay them a visit when others feel they are at risk or are disabled. I have had experience of this where a doctor despite being told by two independent sources refused to pay a client a visit. This person would have died had I not been given the no of the Crisis Team by one of the nurses, bless her.
